MODEL ARMENIA educational simulation game
“Model Armenia” is an educational simulation game designed to enhance young people's understanding of the Republic of Armenia’s public administration system, leadership abilities, civic responsibility, and critical thinking. By assuming roles with clear goals, participants gain insights into various actors' functions within the Armenian public administration system, fostering a sense of commitment. Targeting experienced organizations and trainers who use informal learning principles, the manual includes thematic material and assumes trainers are skilled facilitators. Based on the "Model United Nations" methodology and tailored for Armenia, it enables up to 5-6 hours of gameplay in a full-day session. The manual includes three distinct games, educational resources for participants, and facilitator guidelines, each with an overview and detailed player assignments.
"Model Armenia" educational game was created by the expert team of "NGO Center" civil society development NGO within the framework of "Youth in Action. Youth Empowerment and Leadership Development in Armenia" Project.
Project is a co-funded initiative by the European Union and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS) implemented together with the World Vision Armenia (WVA), Media Initiatives Center (MIC), and Gyumri "Youth Initiatives Centre" (YIC).
