On World Food Day, World Vision Armenia officially launched its new “Enough” campaign, aimed at promoting healthy nutrition to support children’s healthy growth and well-being.
The campaign kicked off with a series of educational and creative activities in World Vision’s regional day-care centers, where children and their families learned about the principles of healthy eating.
Campaign Launch Activities in the Regions
Alaverdi
At World Vision’s Alaverdi day-care center, 38 children participated in the Food Pyramid activity. They sorted food items based on their nutritional value and placed them in the appropriate sections of the pyramid, gaining a deeper understanding of the importance of a balanced diet.
Kapan
In Kapan, the center hosted a workshop titled “Healthy Food for the Family,” attended by 13 parents. Dr. Zarine Babayan introduced the principles of healthy eating, and parents prepared salads while sharing their personal experiences.
Sisian
At the “Navak” center in Sisian, 56 children attended a seminar-discussion on “The Healthy Plate.” They learned about different food groups and received practical tips on maintaining a healthy diet.
Vardenis
Children at the Vardenis day-care center participated in an event on “Diverse Nutrition,” where they explored the benefits of fruits and vegetables. They also created “Healthy Plate” drawings to reinforce their newfound knowledge.
Talin
Children at the Talin day-care center discussed the beneficial and harmful properties of various foods, emphasizing the importance of healthy eating habits.
Ijevan
At the Ijevan center, 58 children took part in a series of activities on “Healthy Lifestyles and Nutrition.” The sessions introduced the concept of the “Healthy Plate” and highlighted the importance of developing healthy habits.
The Goal of the "Enough" Campaign
The “Enough” campaign aims to continuously provide children and their families with knowledge and skills for a healthy lifestyle. World Vision will continue organizing various activities and offering practical advice to contribute to the formation of a healthier generation.
